When the pandemic first began, and Sunday Masses were suspended, the parish began prerecording Sunday Mass and posting them on YouTube so that parishioners at home could participate spiritually and virtually. As time went on and we reopened, we still offered Mass online, knowing that many of you were taking advantage of it. Now, we will continue offering Mass each week, but it will be recorded live. Beginning today, at the 4:00 p.m. Mass, we will begin live streaming this celebration each week.
Our plan is to have it available on our website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel, just as we have been doing since March with pre-recorded Sunday Masses. You can watch with us live at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, or any time later that week. We will also stream Masses for Holy Days of Obligation and other special events.
If you attend 4:00 p.m. Mass, you may appear in the stream. If you are uncomfortable with the possibility of appearing on camera, you are welcome to attend 8:30 or 10:30 Mass on Sundays. As of right now, the parish plans only on streaming the 4:00 p.m. Mass, and having that recording available throughout the week for later viewing. We will likely stream Mass at other times on Holy Days of Obligation or other special feasts. We will do our best to notify everyone in advance if we plan on streaming a particular Mass.
