Catholic Men Chicago Southland Apostolate (CMCS) is hosting its second Men’s Conference for 2013 Bishop Perry Catholic Men’s Conference entitled; Reintegrating and Grounding Male Catholic Identity to be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Saint Ailbe Church, Chicago, IL. Most Reverend Joseph N. Perry, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago, will deliver the reflection for this morning conference.
The keynote for this conference will be Rev. Thomas G. Belanger, Pastor, St. Philip Neri Church in Chicago. His topic will be: Separation, Encounter, Return: Reintegrating and Grounding Male Catholic Identity. Master of Ceremonies will be Mr. Peter Palanca, Executive Vice President and COO of TASC, Inc.
The theme for this presentation Reintegrating and Grounding Male Catholic Identity coincides with the Archdiocese of Chicago focus on the Year of Strong Catholic Parents.
CMCS has a practical way of evangelizing husbands, fathers, and their families, of helping them to understand what the culture often rejects – how men and women should relate to one another in complementary ways and how important husbands and fathers are to children. Since 2004, CMCS has reminded men and helped them to do what is in their power to do: to improve their marriages, to be better fathers, to grow in virtue, to serve the needs of others more generously, to be a better citizen.
Tickets are $20.00 for one man, $15.00 each, two or more men. We welcome donations to provide tickets to men who can’t afford to attend, or to offset expenses. Registration and information on the CMCS website or call 708-374-7729
