Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Lectors
Baptized Catholics who have been confirmed are eligible fir this ministry. Training is a two part experience. Initial formation for these ministries is offered regularly in this area by the Archdiocese. This training will be offered from 7-9:30 p.m. on October 8th and 10th at Our Lady of Loretto for Eucharistic Ministers, and from 7-9:30 p.m. on October 15th and 22nd at St. Elizabeth Seton for Lectors. The second part of training is done here at St. Bernadette. It discusses particular procedures of our parish.

Music Ministry
Our music ministry at St. Bernadette is open to singers and musicians age 8 and above. If you or your child sings or plays an instrument, consider joining the music ministry. It included choirs and bands for children, teen / young adult, and adults. Music for musicians is provided according to level of completion. All music is electronically sent out before rehearsals. Children practice on Wednesday afternoons between 3:30 and 4:30. Teens and adults practice on Thursday evenings.
Altar Servers
Baptized Catholics who are in grade four and above are eligible to become Altar Servers. Training is held in three parts on Tuesday, September 17, 24th and October 1. There will be two identical sessions each of these dates. The first is 2:45—3:30 and the 2nd is 3:45 to 4:30.
We request that parents of children interested in becoming an Altar Server complete and return Altar Server Permission Form to the rectory.
Ushers
Parishioners age high school and above, men and women, are welcome to join this ministry. Ushers may choose which mass they would like to serve at. Ushers welcome parishioners, hand out bulletins and assist with carefully safe-guarded procedures in taking the collection. Ushers also assist in the event of an emergency.

Liturgy Committee
Parishioners of all ages are invited to join this committee. Members plan and design the art and environment for our Church and it’s Liturgical seasons. Members are needed who would like to help with construction, flower decorating, sewing and painting. No experience is needed, just willing, helping hands.
