Becoming Catholic - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Are You Interested in Becoming Catholic? Or, are you a baptized adult who has not yet received your first Communion or Confirmation? If you are interested in completing your sacraments of initiation (baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist), the RCIA program is for you!
RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the celebration of initiation into Catholic life. The RCIA process teaches people about the Catholic tradition and helps people along the spiritual journey as they prepare to become full participants in the Catholic community. The sacraments of initiation are celebrated with the community at the Easter Vigil.
Adults who wish to practice the Catholic faith and participate in the Catholic sacraments should call to learn more about the RCIA process. Contact Deacon Kevin O'Donnell at 708-422-8995 x222 or
kodonnell@stbernadettechurch.org for more information.
If you would prefer to have us contact you about RCIA, simply fill out our
