Manna Notes & Summer Schedule

Manna Cash & Carry will be closed on Sunday, May 25 for Memorial Day, and Sunday, June 15th for Father's Day. 

Manna has recently been informed that County Fair will now come in $50 gift cards and that Swanson's/Beverly Ritz Catering will no longer be participating in Manna.  Giordano's will continue in the Manna program, but will become a special order only as soon as the current C&C supply runs out. 

Cash & Carry sales for the summer will continue to be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings after 9:00 mass until 10:45 a.m.  To place an order, your order and payment must be at the rectory office by 9:00 a.m. on Monday mornings.

Attention Current Manna Users! 

Also in response to all those who told us at the Parish meetings, they’d like to use Manna if it were easier.  We will be offering a tuition assistance sale before and after the  All sales from this sale will be credited to the tuition assistance account.  No regular purchases towards other family accounts will be accepted.  There will be no paperwork  for you to complete and for your convenience we will be located at the north door.  You tell us what you would like to purchase and pay for it with cash or check and we give you the certificates.  There will be a list of stores that are available during this sale.  All purchases will be credited to the St. Bernadette Tuition Assistance account.  A check will be given to the school from the Manna Program each quarter for the credit earned on this account.

Manna certificates are substitute money and look and function just like gift cards and gift certificates.  Our program allows you to purchase Manna for everyday expenses like food, clothing, restaurants and gas while earning a percentage of each dollar purchased back in our tuition assistance account.  Our feeling being that if we could build this account maybe those considering St. Bernadette School wouldn’t be so hesitant about coming to our school and would be able to pay the catholic school cost.  Remember you can always make purchases to contribute to the tuition assistance account at any of our regular Cash & Carry sales on Sunday after 9:00 mass – 10:45 am and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm.  Hope to see you at one of them!  Thanks for helping build this account.

Enrollment Form- St. Bernadette Manna Program

Program rules and guidelines

1.          Each family will be provided a unique customer ID number.  This number must appear on all orders you submit to ensure your purchases are accurately recorded. (First Three Letters of Last Name, first four numbers of your address)

2.          All certificate orders must be accompanied by a check or money order made payable to St. Bernadette Manna.  For all first time purchases, we request cash or money order along with a photo ID for name and address verification.  Manna certificate payments are not tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value. 

3.          If your check is returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), you will be charged a $15 fee payable to St. Bernadette Manna.  After two NSF checks are tendered on your account, your Manna (scrip) ordering privileges will be limited to cash or money order only.

4.          Once each quarter, St. Bernadette Manna program will provide a summary of each participating family’s purchases and their available tuition credit..

5.          Manna (Scrip) certificates are purchased on your behalf, and are not returnable.  Please verify your order before leaving the cash & carry sale or immediately upon receipt from your child when they are sent home.

6.          In the unlikely event you should find a discrepancy in your scrip order, please contact the St. Bernadette Manna  (Scrip) Program coordinator Tina Brettman (708) 422-2754 or Gina O’Connell (708) 346-9841 immediately.

7.          We reserve the right to limit the quantity of certificates purchased at the Cash & Carry Sales.

8.          We reserve the right to request a photo ID at the Cash & Carry Sales.

9.          Manna (Scrip) certificates are the same as cash, and should be handled accordingly.  St. Bernadette Manna program will not be responsible for certificates that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession.
