FAMILY AND SCHOOL NEWS NOTES

A BIG THANKS TO THE T-USA MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTORS….

And to all those who attended our self-defense class last evening! It was a great and informative hour! The class for the students has been re-scheduled for Monday. Please be sure to ask your children all about it! It is sure to be a great learning experience for them all!! (If anyone is interested in the many self-defense and martial arts programs available through T-USA, there are brochures and information available at the office.)

THE ANNUAL MOTHER-SON OUTING…

Is being planned and is tentatively scheduled for mid-May. More information to follow, so stay tuned!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD PEOPLE…

To help us preserve all the great traditions of Family and School such as Grandparents Day, Father-Daughter Dance, and the Back to School Picnic to name a few. There are open positions available on our Board. Please consider the donation of your time! Anyone interested, please contact Laura Brennan at (708)424-4827 for more info! Thanks for your consideration!

Our meeting are the 1^st Tuesday of each month at 7PM. Please plan to attend our April meeting. There are also positions open on our board for next year for all of you ready to take on the leadership roles! Elections will be held at our May meeting. Thanks!

MEMBERSHIP REMINDER….

If you have not already done so, please return your Family and School Membership envelope (the first envelope in the tuition packet) along with your $10.00 membership fee as soon as possible. We will be processing our membership directory soon and we want to be sure to include all those who wish to participate. Thanks!

The Family and School Association is a group of volunteer parents working together to provide additional school support through family activities and fundraising. Please note that our largest fundraiser, the Innisbrook Wrapping Paper Drive kicks-off soon. Please check your home envelope for further details.

SEE’S CANDY IS HERE!!!…

And will be delivered to your children by the end of the school day tomorrow. We would like to thank everyone who participated in this fundraiser! There will also be a limited number of the $5.00 boxes of candy available for sale at the school office. This includes the chocolate ball snowball pack, the Holiday fancy box, and the peanut brittle. Thanks again for your support!

A BIG shout-out and many thanks to all those who worked and served on the Homecoming Dance Committee last weekend. To make the “Hut” look, well, charming, was quite an undertaking, and it couldn’t have been done without all your help. I think the kids really enjoyed our efforts and had a good time. Thanks to Laura Brennan, Laura Flisk, Mary Walsh, Margaret Montag, Jeanine Cheatham, and Tina Brettman! It was great working with you!
