      • Young adult Catholics from throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago are invited to St. Bernadette on Sunday evenings to participate in South Side Theology-on-Tap, a 4-week summer speaker and discussion series.
      • St. Bernadette Parish is committed to Protecting God’s Children and will be offering VIRTUS training. The first session will be on August 10th from 12 -3 PM in the Adult Formation Center. Registration can be done online at www.virtusonline.org. Click on Registration. Class size is limited to 30 people and is open to adults in the archdiocese. Due to the sensitive nature of this program, no one under 18 years of age – including nursing infants- are admitted.
      • There is a faith development program for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults with developmental and intellectual challenges called SPRED. This program helps all to grow in the faith from 6 years of age until well into their 80s. There will be a SPRED informational gathering for anyone interested on Monday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Adult Formation Center.
      • Registration for our Religious Education program for the 2014-15 academic year has begun. Registration is currently available online. There is a $25 discount if registrations and half the tuition are received before August 8! The first day of class is September 8.
      • If you have not yet made your First Communion or Confirmation, you may be interested in joining our RCIA classes to complete your sacraments and learn more about the Catholic faith, while deepening your spiritual life. RCIA classes begin in the fall.
